The Sharp End Construction Company is proudly owned and operated by Matthew Nance. I have over 20 years experience in the construction industry. I started this company in 2017 in Chattanooga, TN and have recently relocated to Salt Lake City.

 I graduated from Appalachian State University in North Carolina in 2005 with a B.S. in Construction Technology, and a B.A. in Spanish. I spent 6 years at a major commercial contracting company in Atlanta, Georgia where I served as a field engineer and superintendent on several large-scale projects including the Medical School and Rollins School of Public Health buildings on Emory University's campus.

Working on large-scale commercial projects has given me invaluable experience managing subcontractors, complex trade scheduling, and exposed me to cutting edge construction techniques. However, my passion for working with my hands has led me to my current focus, which includes working on residential remodeling projects.
